Certification of ISO 9001:2008 AND AS9100C (TECHNICALLY EQUIVALENT TO EN 9100:2009 AND JISQ 9100:2009) requires an accredited third party auditing organization to thoroughly review the company’s internal quality management system processes, to ensure they are capable of consistently delivering a service that meets customers’ needs and expectations. ISO 9001:2008 AND AS9100C have been the basis for EEC’s internal quality management system for a number of years, as many of its customers are in highly regulated industries, which require their own compliance to the standards. EEC is a fully integrated US supplier that develops and produces custom Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) and Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) sintered permanent magnets, Alnico magnets, Ceramic magnets, assemblies and systems. Founded in 1970, they are experts at providing rare earth permanent magnets for aerospace, military, medical, electronics, motion control and instrumentation applications.
